Education:

Dr. Imran Ali is a dedicated scholar with a strong background in Mechanical Engineering. He earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Ningbo Institute of Material Technology & Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), where he conducted research on the fabrication and mechanical behavior of self-reinforced PP structures. Prior to his doctoral studies, Dr. Ali completed an MPhil in Mechanical Design from Beihang University in Beijing, achieving an outstanding grade of A+ for his thesis on the design and analysis of honeycomb structures with applications as flexible structures. He began his academic journey with a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore, where he focused on utilizing gas engine exhaust gases for air-conditioning, showcasing his early interest in sustainable engineering solutions. Dr. Ali’s academic and research experiences have equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of mechanical engineering principles and a passion for innovative engineering solutions.

Dr. Imran Ali is an Assistant Professor at the University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore, a position he has held since February 13, 2019.
