Dr. Bablu Karan holds a diverse and interdisciplinary academic background rooted in education and the humanities. He earned his Ph.D. in Education from the Central University of Gujarat, Gandhinagar, where his doctoral research focused on the timely and impactful topic of “School Readiness for the Incorporation of Artificial Intelligence in Teaching and Learning Process,” conducted between August 2019 and April 2024. Prior to his doctoral studies, he completed his Master of Education (M.Ed.) from Visva-Bharati, a Central University of national importance in Santiniketan, West Bengal, during the period 2017–2019. He also holds a Master of Arts in English from Ravenshaw University, Cuttack, and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in English from Vidyasagar University, Midnapore. In addition, he obtained his Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from the Regional Institute of Education (RIE), affiliated with NCERT, Bhubaneswar, between 2015 and 2017. He was awarded the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and subsequently the Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) by the University Grants Commission (UGC), Government of India, supporting his doctoral research on artificial intelligence in education. During his undergraduate studies, he was granted the Merit-cum-Means (MCM) Scholarship by the Government of West Bengal for his consistent academic performance. Micheline holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Pedagogy with a Chemistry specialization from the University of Burundi (2015). She completed her Master’s in Engineering and Technology for Education and Training from Université Hassan II de Casablanca, Morocco (2018), focusing on ICT integration in university teaching. Currently, she is a Ph.D. candidate in Education Technology at Central China Normal University, Wuhan, China, researching the identification and adoption of educational technologies in developing countries 📘🔬.

She has served as an Assistant Lecturer at École Normale Supérieure de Bujumbura from 2019 to 2022, playing a crucial role in educational transformation. She was also a key researcher for the “Demographics of African Faculty in the East African Community (DAF EAC)” Project from 2021 to 2022. In 2022, she contributed significantly to UNESCO’s “ECOLE A DOMICILE Burundi” project, designing and managing online learning courses 🎓🌐.
