Dr. Osvaldo Carvente is a highly qualified professional with a strong academic background in Physics. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Physics from the Meritorious Autonomous University of Puebla, Mexico, between 1997 and 2001. Building on this foundation, Dr. Carvente pursued advanced studies and completed a Master of Science with a Specialty in Applied Physics at the IPN Research and Advanced Studies Center (CINVESTAV-MERIDA), Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico, from 2001 to 2003. Continuing his academic pursuit, he achieved a Ph.D. with a Specialty in Applied Physics, also from the IPN Research and Advanced Studies Center (CINVESTAV-MERIDA), Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico, from 2003 to 2007. Dr. Carvente’s extensive academic journey reflects his dedication to mastering the field of Physics and his commitment to advancing his knowledge through research and higher education.

 

Leadership:

 

Since June 2019, as a chief of the postgraduate studies and the research unit in my institution, I have been the head of 40 researchers and responsible of almost 70 students of master and PhD degree.
