I am currently a Research Officer leading the Radiation Protection Laboratory at the Research Centre of Nuclear Science and Technology (CRSTN), part of the Institute of Geological and Mining Research (IRGM) under Cameroon’s Ministry of Scientific Research and Innovation (MINRESI). This year, I defended my PhD thesis in Nuclear Physics, focusing on Dosimetry and Radiation Protection at the Center for Atomic Molecular Physics and Quantum Optics (CEPAMOQ), University of Douala, Cameroon. My research examines public exposure to natural radioactivity in Cameroonian homes. 📊🏠My daily responsibilities involve monitoring environmental radioactivity and studying public doses in mining regions. I am actively engaged in various nuclear science projects, including those with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), aimed at mitigating radon levels through the National Radon Plan. 🌐🔍As a co-author of about twenty scientific publications, I have garnered recognition for my contributions, including the Best Junior Researcher Award in 2021.
