Scientific Path
Dr. Rojas holds a degree in Chemistry from the University of Barcelona (UB) and an MSc in Chemistry from the University of Granada (UGR). Awarded the “Excelencia” grant from the Junta de Andalucía, she completed her PhD at UGR under Drs. Barea and Rodríguez, achieving Cum Laude and International Mention for her work on “Synthesis and Characterization of Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs) with Drug Delivery Purposes”. During her PhD, she completed stages at the University of Saint Andrews, Scotland, and the Institut Lavoisier in Versailles, France. Post-PhD, she secured a Marie Curie Individual Fellowship for work at ILV, France, followed by an “Atracción del Talento” grant from the Comunidad de Madrid to join IMDEA Energy Institute. She has led and contributed to numerous research projects, published extensively, and earned a Juan de la Cierva Incorporación grant in 2020, followed by the Ramón y Cajal contract in 2022.
