He currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Medical Oncology at the Faculty of Medicine, School of Health Sciences, University of Thessaly, a position he assumed in February 2025. Prior to this, he worked as a Consultant in Medical Oncology at the University Hospital of Larissa. His earlier roles at the same hospital include serving as a University Scholar and a Fellow with consultant responsibilities in the Department of Medical Oncology. Dr. Tsapakidis completed a residency in Medical Oncology at the University Hospital of Larissa, where he also engaged in volunteer evening clinical practice.
