Prof. Wenlong Song is a distinguished scholar and senior engineer recognized for his significant contributions to the fields of mechanical engineering, tribology, surface coatings, and high-efficiency manufacturing processes. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Jining University, he integrates academic excellence with industrial innovation. He holds a doctoral degree in mechanical manufacturing and automation from Shandong University, where his research focused on high-efficiency machining and cutting tool technology. His professional journey includes leadership and research roles at Shantui Construction Machinery Co., postdoctoral research in material science and engineering, and technological collaboration as a scientific vice president at Shandong Artery Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. His pioneering studies explore tribological behavior, friction and wear mechanisms, coating technologies, and surface modification of advanced materials, including MoS₂/Zr, TiN-MoS₂/PTFE, DLC, and Cr-coated composites.
