Habtamu Miju Teshome is an Ethiopian civil engineer and academic with a strong background in construction technology, project management, and structural engineering, who has built his career on a foundation of rigorous education, professional practice, and dedicated teaching, beginning with early schooling in Oromia before advancing through comprehensive secondary education and higher studies that culminated in a Bachelor of Science in Construction Technology and Management at Wollega University, a Master of Technology in Construction Project Management at Parul University in India, and current doctoral research in Civil Engineering with specialization in Structural Engineering at Andhra University, reflecting his pursuit of excellence in both academic and applied dimensions of civil engineering; throughout his professional journey, he has served as a lecturer and mentor at Bule Hora University, where he has taken on academic and administrative responsibilities, fostering intellectual growth, guiding students to achieve academic success, and contributing to curriculum enhancement, while simultaneously engaging in scholarly research and collaborative initiatives that address practical challenges in construction and sustainable infrastructure; his expertise extends across key areas of civil engineering including project planning, structural design, material science, contract management, and sustainable construction methods, complemented by proficiency in tools such as MS Office, AutoCAD, and other technical platforms; a multilingual scholar fluent in English, Oromifa, Amharic, Wolaitigna, and Sidamigna, he is able to communicate and collaborate effectively in diverse cultural and academic settings, further strengthening his role as a bridge between communities and institutions; recognized for his strong analytical skills, dedication to mentoring, and ability to foster academic collaboration, he has earned recommendations from academic leaders at Parul University and Bule Hora University, reflecting his academic rigor and technical competence; beyond his professional and academic commitments, he is passionate about reading engineering literature, exploring innovative knowledge through technology, and contributing to social and national development by supporting students and sharing expertise; as a dedicated researcher, educator, and lifelong learner, Habtamu Miju Teshome embodies the qualities of resilience, leadership, and innovation, continually striving to merge theoretical research with practical solutions in order to strengthen sustainable infrastructure and advance the field of civil engineering for the benefit of future generations.
